After practicing general dentistry for 10 years, Dr. Odabashian found his calling in Endodontics. He received his certificate of specialty, and a Master's Degree in Endodontics from Loma Linda University, (LLU). Dr. Odabashian has done  research at UCLA, Tufts  University and LLU. He held the position of part-time Assistant Professor within the Department of Graduate Endodontics at LLU, for over 15 years and  Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas (UNLV) (2009) while he was a resident of Las Vegas. He served as the District VII Director representing Southern California at the American Association of Endodontists ((AAE). Past positions held in organized dentistry include: President of the California State Association of Endodontists (CSAE), chair of the Bylaws Committee of the International Academy of Endodontists (IAE), president of the Glendale Academy of Dentistry (GAD), Armenian Dental Society of California (ADSC) Board of Trustees of the Armenian Dental Association (ADA-Armenia), president of the Armenian American Endodontic Association, (AAEA), Zone Director for the San Fernando Valley Dental Society (SFVDS),  and Bylaws Committee member of the AAE.  Dr. Odabashian has lectured and continues to lecture  on topics in endodontics at both local and international conferences. His most recent lecture presentation was in March of 2023 on Minimally Invasive Endodontics to the Nice (France) Dental Society--GEDO.

Dr. Odabashian has been privileged to have had as patients some notable figures from the entertainment and business industries and SM Influencers including the late Michael Jackson, Brian Holland, Ivan Passer , Frank Scinta, Elaine Goodlad, Tania Themmen, Damian James, Anthony Marnell, Jordan Plosky , Norman Howell,  Joss Stone, Howard Panes, Paul Carafotes, Michael Balzary (Flea) and others.

Dr. Odabashian feels blessed not only in his chosen profession but more so with his family. He is married to his beautiful wife, Lilit, and his three children,  Sophomore at Pepperdine University, daughter, Galia, (18), his High school Junior comedian son, Serge (15), and his angel son, Noah (13). At Glendale MicroEndodontics, our patients become part of our extended family, and are treated like family.

Gevorg recently joined our practice. He is an Armenian dentist from Moscow. He is here in the States less than a year with his wife and son. He is very pleasant to work with and does very well with patients while he prepares for taking the dental examinations for licensure. He will be with us for some time while we get him accustomed to private practice in the US. We are happy to have him here.
