Meet Our Doctor

Nishan Odabashian, DMD, MS

After practicing general dentistry for a decade, Dr. Nishan Odabashian discovered his true passion for endodontics and pursued advanced specialty training. He earned both his Certificate in Endodontics and Master of Science degree from Loma Linda University (LLU).

Dr. Odabashian has contributed to academic research at UCLA, Tufts University, and Loma Linda University, reflecting his longstanding commitment to advancing the field of endodontics. He served for 20 years as a part-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Graduate Endodontics at LLU and also held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).

He has been actively involved in organized dentistry at both the regional and national levels. Dr. Odabashian currently serves as President of the Southern California Academy of Endodontics (SCAE). He previously served as District VII Director, representing Southern California, for the American Association of Endodontists (AAE). His leadership roles include:

  • President, California State Association of Endodontists (CSAE)
  • Chair, Bylaws Committee, International Academy of Endodontists (IAE)
  • President, Glendale Academy of Dentistry (GAD)
  • Board of Trustees, Armenian Dental Association (ADA-Armenia)
  • President, Armenian American Endodontic Association (AAEA)
  • Zone Director, San Fernando Valley Dental Society (SFVDS)
  • Bylaws Committee Member, American Association of Endodontists (AAE)
  • Bylaws Committee Member, Armenian American Medical Society (AAMS)

Dr. Odabashian is a recognized speaker who continues to lecture nationally and internationally on advanced topics in endodontics. He has presented in Lebanon, Armenia, and most recently in Nice, France, where he lectured to the Nice Dental Society (GEDO).

Dr. Odabashian feels blessed not only in his chosen profession but more so with his family. He is married to his beautiful wife, Lilit, and his three children,  daughter, Galia, (21) a second year student at UCLA School of Dentistry, Serge (18) a Junior at UCLA (Fall '2026), and his angel son, Noah (16). At Glendale MicroEndodontics, our patients become part of our extended family, and are treated like family.
